Livelihood Project
Currently, we at Udbhav Srijan are running a Livelihood Project that offers training in tailoring, stitching, computer courses, and agriculture, including organic farming. This initiative aims to empower individuals with essential skills for sustainable livelihoods. Additionally, our organization provides training to combat and mitigate the effects of global warming, equipping participants with knowledge and practices that promote environmental sustainability. Through these efforts, we strive to enhance employability among communities, and help them secure a good earning on their own to uplift their living standards and societal position.
Water Reservation Campaign
To remove water scarcity and to create awareness among the masses and to protect the resources of water, our NGO is working hard
Water is everywhere in our country but the lack of pure water is still there. Our organization has taken an initiative called Stop Water Wastage, Reserve Water to stop water wastage and provide more pure drinking water to the problematic areas. Water wastage and saving water are two mottos of our organization; our members go to every corner of the areas and tell them about the importance of
water preservation. We preserve rain waters and try to reduce water wastage by taking little initiatives. We also thinking to arrange training camps for Recycling Rain Water where the experienced people give practical demonstration on how to save rainwater and transform it into drinking water. It will help the residents to overcome the water scarcity in the summertime.
Women Empowerment
Our organization arrange various programs on women empowerment at Araria district; the programs inspire women to come forward
In the program, we arrange a program for the women of poor areas; the women participants or members take part in it. Many social activists and speakers take part in the programs to tell about the fundamental rights of the women and also to educate all the women in urban areas who face problems in every step of their life. We empower them by providing knowledge about their basic
rights, the laws made for them and provide right sanitation ideas. We also teach them about the harmful side of early marriage and getting pregnant early. We also arrange some vocational training for them which can make them self-dependent and confident enough so that they can fight for their rights.
Agricultural Development
In this program, the farmers of different villages of the Araria district are informed about scientific agriculture procedure
Agriculture is the basic earning method of the people but they don’t have the knowledge about modern tools that’s why they are lacking money. We help the farmers to know about the use of modern tools, provide some tools and seeds. All these things improve their farming, help them to grow more crops in less time which improves agricultural status. Agriculture is the way to save the environment as harvesting your crops is very beneficial for the
body and environment. We also inspire farmers to use organic fertilizers rather than using chemical fertilizers, it will create a good balance among the creatures and environment like the earlier days. We make people aware of the benefits of using herbal products in recovering the diseases, such as we can use drumstick leaves to control high blood pressure and high sugar; the sticks can also be used in making curry.
Health
Health is often neglected in rural, marginalized areas of Bihar due to the lack of quality healthcare services. Prioritizing the well-being of these communities, we organize health camps in various villages across Bihar. Through these camps, we provide free treatment, consultations, and, when needed, medicines to patients. We also promote natural ways of living healthy life including Yoga and Ayurveda. These ancient age practices of our country benefit individuals in enjoying better health- physically, mentally and emotionally. Our aim is to create a healthier, stronger rural Bihar by ensuring access to essential healthcare for those who need it most, fostering well-being and a better future for all.
Education
Education is a basic human right, and every individual should have access to it in order to reach their goals in life. Understanding the essentiality of making this right accessible for unprivileged children, Udbhav Srijan is committed to ensuring the educational upliftment of rural Bihar. We are also aware of the literacy rate in this state.
So, we offer free education to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and financial support to continue their studies. We also provide free educational materials to ease the burden of educational expenses. Our primary goal is to empower these children and enable them to fulfill their dreams.
